I don't suppose anyone would be willing to purchase tickets for those of us who'll be out of town?
I'd like to see it in DLP also, but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do that for opening night. How about opening night at the Hollywood and then a trip to a digital theater somewhere else, maybe that weekend?
So, I guess Lucas is looking to have the #1 movie 4 weeks in a row prior to its release?

I love our little family. I think we should all wear white longsleeve t-shirts and black vests on opening day. heheh...
Seriously, though - what's the age limit for buying tickets? Do they charge for little ones, or do they get in free? I'm sure they'll charge for David, and I'm betting that if we have to, we can sneak Zada in like a chicken dinner from Bush's heh... J/K!

I had chicken for lunch. Someone I knew in Abilene snuck some chicken (similar to Bush's) into a theater (digital theater, I might add). Of course, the smell overwhelmed the audience and they had to share. Just kidding. But, since Zada's only a little bit bigger than a nice sized chicken, I figured that we could sneak her in just as easily - until she started crying. But then again, she wouldn't smell like dinner when we opened her container!

Personally, I'd prefer the Hollywood. Something feels good about that place. Starplex feels, to quote Will Smith, "Old and busted."
But, I talked to a guy I used to work with over at Office Depot, and he says he's in good with the head honcho at Starplex. I gave him a card to our group. We'll see.... I also need to go down and check with each theater....
Sounds like voting time!

I was with all the other ho-bags. (nick) other than visiting dallas, i've mostly been working in laredo as my mother wasn't doing too well. so i decided i could take yet another semseter to finish school. i should be back by august and then on to dallas!!! but seriously, y'all should do a dallas thing. i mean, it's so close and it is the last movie. don't do it in scummy waco. i already got my plane ticket.

Meh. Waco may not appeal to all, but it's not any scummier than what I've seen of other cities. Besides, you gonna drive me almost 2 hrs back to waco when the movie's over? Sure, the kids'll be sacked out, but there's only room in the truck for 2 adults. 3 if they can squeeze in the back between the car seat and the window. I"m not sure that even Nick could fit there.
Enjoy Dallas. We'll make it there, just not for the opening.

i agree on the drive, i'll be seeing it in waco for the opening. does anyone know when tickets are on sale in waco yet? i have 1 (yes 1) day to take off of work before year end or i lose it and year end happens to be....the 18th! so if i need to take off to stand in line so be it. but i'm sure they'll be on sale sooner than that.

Tickets have been on sale for about a week at the Hollywood. I'm not sure if they are sold out yet.
