are they just selling at the hollywood, or are they selling at the galaxy too?
i wuld hope both, as the galaxy is a better theater i think.

Not sure about the Galaxy, but we've all got our tickets at the Hollywood. There have been some bad experiences with the management at the Galaxy so we decided on the Hollywood this time.

I think the Galaxy is ok. I like the Hollywood better, because it's cleaner, and usually less filled.

So what's the plan?
Christy will probably open that day, so we can get out there probably around 2:30 or so. I'll bring my 2 camping chairs - Wal-Mart has kids Star Wars camping chairs for $8. I plan on getting one for David. David will be in his Old School Preschooler shirt, and I'll be in my 'sith' costume. Christy and Zada will probably be in normal, comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.

I haven't made up my mind on when I'll be there. Maybe after I get off work and go home right quick to check on things and such. I plan on bringing my laptop, PSP and chairs(if needed). If we start the line inside then I don't think the theater will allow chairs.

My sith costume is just about done. I redid the clasp on the cape, so hopefully it won't break this time. The cloak was rendered useless after washing it, so we made another. It looks and feels really nice, and goes well with the rest of the ensemble.
I am in the process of converting my Jango shins to sith shins, and the Jango foot armor to clone armor, but now sith foot armor. It should look better and be cooler than the other stuff I was wearing. I'll also be adding a belt buckle to the outfit. I'll be wearing my Vader-esque saber hilt, and toting a Dooku saber, for playing.
I was also considering painting my face or adding horns or something, but I may forego that just to be a little more comfortable. I'll be wearing my wicking shirt (pulls sweat away from the body and cools with movement, think Under Armor) under everything, so hopefully I'll be a little cooler.
What time are we looking at getting to the Hollywood? Christy opens, so the earliest I could get there would be 2ish. Christy suggested I catch a ride with someone so that she could bring the kids up later, like 10 or so. She said 11, but I hope she comes out sooner. I know Elizabeth is working that day and can't get out till 6 or so.
Also, will anyone be bringing a cd player? I was thinking of bringing the Ep3 soundtrack, the NPR drama, and maybe the OT soundtrack box set with me if someone does. And I'll be bringing my 2 camping chairs. Until Christy gets there, it'll be open for anyone who wants it.

People will line up but not for more than an hour for that 7pm showing. For the midnight premiere I imagine we'll start lining sometime that afternoon.

Thanks you guys for letting me join you in line so late in the evening and thanks for those who stuck around afterwards since I was in a different theater!
I'm going on vacation to Germany and Austria next week for a couple of weeks, but I'll try to be less of a stranger (on the boards at least) until I go.
