From TOS
Obsession ill-becomes a Jedi Knight. Nonetheless Obi-Wan Kenobi is on a damned-fool idealistic crusade to confront his greatest opponent, and challenge the hold of the dark side. In a quest spanning worlds, Obi-Wan seeks out the Separatist Asajj Ventress in a bid to finally bring the dark Jedi to justice. Accompanied by Anakin Skywalker -- now a Jedi Knight -- Obi-Wan's journey will bring him to the besieged world of Boz Pity, and culminate in an explosive confrontation that sets the stage for the events of Episode III.
This is suspenseful tale is to be told in Star Wars: Obsession, a five-part limited series from Dark Horse Comics. After years of relentless fighting, the Clone Wars are nearing the end, with both the Republic and the Confederacy ramping up for desperate measures to ensure victory. The battle has spread across the Outer Rim, and many of the most skilled Jedi are being dispatched to worlds far from Coruscant in a bid defeat the Separatist leaders before they can claim more worlds.
The monthly five-part series not only features characters and elements that figure into the Episode III story -- such as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Senator Padmé, Chancellor Palpatine, General Grievous and Mace Windu - but also advance the stories of many of the new characters that have appeared in the pages of Dark Horse's Clone Wars comics -- characters such as Alpha, Durge, and Asajj Ventress.
Star Wars: Obsession, written by Haden Blackman with art by Brian Ching, begins in December 2004. Here's a look at the first two covers in the series, by artist Brian Ching.
