When I got my comics today at Bankston's, they were handing out fliers about a sale this weekend at Austin Books. Trades are going to be 50 to 90% off. I'm thinking of going either Friday or Saturday morning. They open at 11. Anybody want to go?

Saturday it is then. I have to do my Fantasy Football live draft at 8 that morning, so we can leave when it's over or at 9:30(if it's over before that time).

Here's the swag I bought: Absolute Watchmen(10% off  ), Ultimates 2 Vol. 2, Walking Dead 40(since Bankston's didn't get their copies). Hush action figure $6, Riddler(Hush) action figure $5, Silver Age Batgirl(Barbara Gordon) and Joker Action figure set $10 and Silver Age Batgirl(Betty Kane) and Batwoman(Kathy Kane) w Batmite and Bathound action figure set $10. Since I have the Absolute Watchmen, do you guys(Joe and Elizabeth) want to buy my Watchmen trade for $8? I think its been read maybe 3 times. Let me know. |
