I made reservations at the Courtyard Marriott Gaslamp which is about $115 cheaper than the Hard Rock. I will keep shopping and hope I can remember to cancel any rooms that we don't want.

I checked my credit card account this morning and hotels.com already charged me for the room at the Courtyard Marriott!! WTF!!! I thought you don't get charged for a room until you check-in???

I just found out that discounted rooms become available Wednesday, February 6th at 9am Pacific Time. You can reserve rooms online through the comic-con website, or call the housing desk at (877)552-6642.
