My grandmother, whom some of you have met, has been suffering from TIA for some time now. TIA are like little mini-strokes, causing her to drift off a little bit when they happen. In themselves, they're not too harmful.
My mom called this morning to say she had another bout of it, but this time it was bigger. The paramedics were coming to pick her up and take her to the hospital. We're about to head up there now.
I have a feeling that this is the beginning of the end. I'm sad, but truthfully, she's lived a long life, and even though she's outlived half her children and survived her husband, she's been surrounded by a loving family and has always had loving and caring friends that look out for her.
I'm sad, because it feels like it is close to her time. Once we get back from the hospital, I'll fill everyone in. Hopefully it's nothing serious and everything'll be fine.

Hey Tob,
I will be sure to keep your grandmother and your family in prayer. I just lost my own grandfather about a month ago. Even though you know they have lived a good, long life, it is still sad to see them go. Hopefully, your grandmother will still be around for awhile. Please do keep us updated.

Okay.... visited her this morning/afternoon. She looks good, and aside from the fact that she's losing her memory, she's acting really lively.
My mom called just a little bit ago, and the doc said everything looks fine and that she'll be fine. Nothing wrong with her tests and nothing showed up on the CT scan.
So she's doing just fine; just a little scare. Looks like I'll be taking more trips with the kids to her house - they seem to keep her a little younger.
Thanks guys for your thoughts - sorry to scare you...

Update: Currently my grandmother is residing at Royal Manor - which is just off of Panther Way in Hewitt. I visited her today and she's looking really good.

That's where mom is.
I glad she is doing better. I hope her stay is very shot and she's back home soon.
