A few of us have been bantering about the idea of heading back to theForce.net boards, especially with the 'upgrade' that just happened. Also, theForce.net is looking to close 'inactive' chapters, including DFW. We both know that we, as well as DFW are active, but we just don't post on theForce.net anymore.
So, one idea is to use theForce.net as the official happenings posting place, such as meetings and events, while using these boards like we have been with a little change. For instance, we could hammer out details of the next meeting/event, post it at TF.N, and continue here. But here, we'd need to add and change a few things so we could continue using them. Such as a guest area that features news and events. A member area for, well, members.
Or we could go completely back to TF.N and shut this puppy down, or use this board as the backup.
Either way, I'm good. I'd like to use TF.N as the official board, posting meetings and events and even have some discussions there. But I'd like for us to use this as our main board for our meaningless drivel and bright ideas.
So chime in. Voice your opinion. But keep in mind, things will be changing, and we will go with what the majority want.
