Killeen's upcoming events

After spending last night with the Killeen group, I felt like I should share some of their upcoming events.

First, even though there's no raffle or big to-do this Saturday (June 18th), they're looking at dressing up again for next Saturday's ROTS. I'd like to run around in the sith gear again. If Rod's available, he may go also. I don't think a costume is required, but I can tell you it was a blast!

Second, on the 21st they're getting together at the Pizza Hut. The Pizza Hut there is under new management and the guy really is turning the place around. The 21st is a Tuesday, and on Tuesdays, the kids eat free. So, Killeen is going to get out there to help with the guy's business. Free pizza is involved... I think they're looking at a 6p or 6:30p time frame.

Third, they invited us to join them at their meeting the second Sat at 1 (Applebees?) in July. They usually do the first Sat., but due to July 4th are moving it back a week.
Just some things to think about. I'm not sure what Christy's schedule is for the 21st, but if we could get out to the Pizza Hut, we will. I think Rod has a meeting that day, but if it lets out early enough he might just swing by, Jedi robes and all.

I know Rod and I had a great time, and I think John and Robert did as well. I think it would be really good if we could cooperate with Killeen and help them out on things. They even suggested meeting in Waco from time to time. Together we could rule the Heart of Texas... heh.. Lemme know what you guys think.

Sorry this is coming so late! I wanted to thank everyone that came out to the drive-in! We had a terrific time, the turn out was awsome and we ended raising about 200 dollars for the boy scouts.Ya'll even stayed to clean up! I would love to do more joint events in the future, so if any one is interested........

Mr. Palmer wanted a picture of all of us in front of his Marquis to put up in the theatre, so maybe if ya'll can make the Pizza Hut appearance we could drop by to do that for him.
We had originally wanted to do another appearance this weekend, but our trooper has prior engagements. SO we were looking at doing it on the 25th. Not with a raffle etc. But definitley a bar b que

We have the pizza hut appearance on the 21 and we're working on an appearance at the local library to support literacy. So anyone thats interested let me know!!!!!

Anyone interested in a 4th of July BBQ with Killeen? I think they're 'cookin' up something and are wondering if we'd be interested.

put me down as 80-20 that I can go, That schedule hasn't been made yet, and they have been working us 6 days a week, this week and the next 2. I only worked by actual days this week but I put in the time of 6 days already.......talk about being tired

The 25th's my b-day, so I probably won't be at the drive-in, and my cousin's getting married the weekend of the 4th in Colorado, and I'm not sure when we're getting back into town. If I'm here, the 4th bar-b-q sounds good to me.

And joining them for a meeting sounds good too, especially since Killeen is much closer to me than Waco is.
