I'm posting a thread in the DFW boards to see if any of them want to get together and watch ROTS with us when we go up that Saturday. I figure we might as well make a day of it...

First thing we need to do is decide on a theatre and time. Maybe that theatre in Plano that we saw Clones back in '02? I believe it was a Cinemark.

Justplaininsane (Mike) said he'd meet up with us for the showing. I also suggested dinner, and he also said that'd be cool.
We just have to decide when (time) and where to see it. I didn't think it'd be too hard to ask starwars fans if they wanted to go see starwars....

Well if i am counting my days off correctly, then i should be off the weekend of the 21-22 but i wont know for sure until Saturday or sunday of this week.........we do our schedules two weeks out but for some reason our weeks start on Saturday instead of Sunday.....go figure
p.s. If I go most likely my kids will go too

At Starbucks, the week starts on Monday. Which can suck, because if you get Sat and Sun off, then you can't have any other days off. No 3 day weekends beginning on Friday. 's all good tho....
Hopefully you'll be off and we can all see ROTS in D...

I vote 2:50p on Sat. Or noon. I say 2:50 because that gives us more time to get there.
We carpooling? Granted, I can only take one small adult with me, but I figured if we're all going, might as well hop in one car and split the gas $$$.... just a thought. Or we can be true Americans and all ride in separate cars. Or one for each foot.

I can take one, small, short-legged, narrow-shouldered person with me, if needed. They have to not mind sitting next to Zada, who currently has no problems showing everyone what she just finished eating. Also, the spare seat is directly behind the driver, so leg room is minimal, at best. I just figured that maybe Joe, Elizabeth, John, Misty and Robert could ride together, all cozy like. Or put Robert in the trunk, with John's PSP. and some dramamine. |
