Our first Saturday Matinee went off very well.
We watched 2001: A Space Odyssey. I think most of us had seen parts of this movie, but had not seen it all the way through. Now we have, and hopefully put that back on the shelf for a very long time!
Do we want to continue doing Saturday Matinee, or do we want to do bi-weekly, or what? I think we could probably pull off a Saturday afternoon deal everyweek, for the most part.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Where? Christy's off, so anywhere's good, although I do like my house...
What? Joe suggested Easy Rider, and I'm all for that. I think it'll be less depressing than 2001, but I think I already know the ending. (my dad told me years ago)

This Saturday (2/26) afternoon? Elizabeth's pick. Time? Christy's off at 1:15p, so we can do it anywhere, really, since I won't have to lug David around. Rod was talking about having something (poker/halo) night at his place soon...
So? Who's hosting? I can, if no one else wants to. And, what time is good for everyone? Anything after 2p should be fine for me.
Oh, and Elizabeth, you have free reign on the movie, so whatever you pick (and you can keep it secret until showtime) is what we watch. I just ask that we steer clear of any Kubrik films for at least another week or so. And maybe not a Dennis Hopper flick either. At least not until the acid runs its course.
