Any plans? Christy has to work, but she may be off in time to kiss me at midnight, but that doesn't include anyone else! We doing anything, or are we doing like I did last year and pull the covers up at 10p?

Joe and I haven't made any planes yet. So HALO? Well, when you start making planes, I want one! J/K. We could do some HALO at my place, that way David can be happy with his freedom... if'n that's cool wiff e'erone.

The End Is Near. It has been suggested that we watch a classic movie, either to end the year, or to ring in the new. I am up for this. Of course, we will have some HALO goodness to sprinkle about! Do we want to do a N.Y. Eve movie, or a N.Y. Day movie? I'm betting on the Eve... Either or is fine. John, aren't you headed to Dallas to see the Cotton Bowl? I think you told me this, but I don't remember for sure.... The movie needs to be from the AFI top 100 movies, to start us out. AFI 100Post the movies you'd like to see (about 5 or 10) and we'll chose before Friday. My 10: Citizen Kane Casablanca The Godfather The Graduate One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest 2001: A Space Odyssey The Maltese Falcon Raging Bull Treasure of the Sierra Madre Rear Window - of course, there's always Star Wars, #15 on their list, #1 on mine! Post your lists, folks!

Sounds good, enjoy the foosball! You and the soon-to-be missus need some time to yourselves!
Okay, my house, New Year's Eve. HALO. Bring a snack. I'll see if we can do some more of the white chocolate popcorn. If someone can bring a couple of two liters (preferably not DrPepper) then we should be set. I'd say we could do a champagne toast at midnight, but since my ol' lady's preggos, we might forego that in lieu of some sparkling grape juice. Of course, you could bring some bubbly if you want.
New Year's Day - Classic movie day. Christy's gotta work 11-7 that day, so if we do it early, we'll need to do it at my house (again) because of David. We could start at noon or one-ish and see a couple or 3 movies, if everyone wants... Maybe Joe & Elizabeth bring their choice, Nick bring your choice, and I'll provide one. Robert, if you're coming over, just bring us some beer. heheh or just me. whatever. heheh.
Also, It's tradition to eat Black Eyed Peas on New Year's Day, because it's supposed to bring good luck for the rest of the year, so i think I'll have a pot on all day.
I think I'll provide 2001: A Space Odessey for my movie on New Year's. If we just do one or two, that's fine, but three's good too. Guess I need to make a popcorn run...
