A little birdie told me that Hastings is having a midnight release party for the OT. I thought it would be a great opportunity to do some recruiting done. I’m going to call the manager and see if we can pass out some fliers.

I have a lightsaber that I made that anyone is welcome to use. It has a cell phone clip on it, but I don't have the beltclip part, so if you've got a clip, it might fit...
I plan on putting back together my 'vader' one and using it.

You think I can wait from Tuesday to Sunday to watch em? You are right Toby, I ain't missin football. We can watch em all on Friday night if ya want, but I'll probably start watching them Tuesday.

I'm not really wanting to watch 6+ hours of Star Wars on a Friday night. Not that it wouldn't be fun, I think it would, I just think that an earlier time would be better, say start around noon or one. I've told y'all before about the time my brother and I drove to Austin and watched all three movies at the Paramount on Congress. It started at noon, and we got out about 7 or so. There was a 15 minute intermission between movies. It was a blast, like a Rocky Horror atmostphere, with everyone hooting and hollering. Laughing at Luke wanting to go to Toschi station, Ewwwing when Leia tongue kissed Luke after the bacta bath. Great fun indeed. And no one's asking you to not watch them before that Friday, ya moron!  Just looking for a time we can all get together. Sunday's usually the best time for everyone. Elizabeth is off, I'm off (heh heh), I think Joe may or may not work... Sundays are usually easiest to schedule a big block of time for everyone. I would suggest John's place, since he's got the surround sound and all, but I wouldn't want to interfere with football. God forbid he miss a game! <Psst, that's why there's ESPN, for highlights.> I'm cool with whatever, though. I'd just rather not spend all night Friday watching movies. But if we do, we do. I know David would love it, for the most part, as long as he's got his animal crackers! |

The Sunday in question is the 26th? If so, it may be a good day for me since the Cowboys play on Monday night(27th). I will have some responsibilities around noon, but should be able to leave early. |
