At least my FS VHS tape is. Put it in yesterday for the boy to watch, and the VCR ate it. I think it's still playable, but I'm not really willing to try it. Not so sure I want to put anything in that VCR right now. Granted it was the tape I loaned to a friend who's kids watched all three movies relentlessly, so that may have something to do with it. Thank God it was the Full Screen version and not my beloved widescreen!

The good news is that it isn't the VCR. ESB made it through just fine. But alas, A New Hope is now No Hope. I know that it is thoroughly crinkly.
As for pity, check the icon! heh.
