Oh c'mon Robert, you don't get beat that bad, at least not very often.

Robert, you don't get beat all the time. In fact, although you don't win everytime, you definately hold your own. Besides, if you only play to win, then you're not having fun. You play to have fun, first and foremost. John blasted me out of the 'puma' with a rocket the other day and it flung me out so high and fast that I died on impact! Yeah, I died, but it was fun. Secondly, you play to get better. You get better by playing better players. I don't know if you've noticed, but I usually lose the first game I play. Elizabeth beat me on my first game one night. Yeah, it was a blow to my ego, but I still had fun. And I didn't cry either. I can take my butt from someone's hand just as easily as I can give them theirs. Nothing personal, it's just a game.
As for people ganging up on you, that's your ego talking. No one gangs up on anyone. I definately don't hold my trigger for anyone. I don't think anyone gangs up on anyone. I don't even think I get ganged up on, and I probably deserve it. Hell, I think it's funny even when a teammate (Red or Blue) starts team killing. The first time that happened, it was a bit annoying, but after that it was fun and pretty funny.
Lastly, I'd like to say that in order to have fun, you have to check your emotions at the door. We're all friends, and we all love each other as we love our siblings. We don't care how many times we die, or kill. Yeah, it's nice to be on the top of the list, but being on the bottom isn't that bad. At least you're on the list. It's a nice list, the Waco Fan Force list.
No one rubs in a win, and no one throws the contoller when they lose (that's when I pack up and head out.) We all love playing and that's what it boils down to. Robert, we really enjoy playing HALO with you. If I tease you a bit too much, then let me know. I don't want to make HALO night bad for anyone, especially you.
I have a lot of respect for the players who get 2 or 3 kills a game, but keep playing. My friend Matt in Abilene always came over when we'd play. He got better as we went along, but he'd sometimes end up with negative kills. Kept on playing, never got upset, just got better. He didn't own an XBox. But he loved to play.
So, what I'm saying Robert, is that even though you feel as though you're not doing your "BEST," keep playing! The one thing I love about our HALO night is that we can play on more than one box! I keep bringing my hub and cables just in case we have 3 boxes! I'll even bring the 19" TV next time if I think we'll use it.
Also, I'm looking into getting Project Gotham Racing 2 and MechAssault. That way we can all play different games, and link them if we want. (Since John has both of those) We could even rent a game to try out. I really enjoy Metal Arms: A Glitch In The System. Well, the demo anyway.
Sorry to ramble on so much, but I felt I needed to say it. Xbox night is always so cool for me.

My problem is I cant aim ,and usually 9 times out of 10 the other player sees me first so he starts firing before I do then I die.I appreciate all your comments but I do not care to be first and I am doing my best .It just seems when john plays me hes just incredibly accurate for some reason esp with sniper rifle even in close quarters. What is he doing to be so accurate,am I doing something wrong with the buttons or joysticks on the control pad?

Maybe you need to reset your sensitivity? It's under the Advance Settings when setting up your character. We'll show you how. I usually set mine up around 7 or 8. Makes it quick, but makes it a little tougher for non-long range sniping. A lot of people put their setting low (under 5 - default is 3), but don't realize they'll play better with a higher setting. I'd try 7, then adjust from there. Oh, and inverted sucks.
