Yeh Robert, but that's gonna be about $200 a piece. That's not too bad really, especially considering the event.

In the end it probably be about a $1,000 a person.
renting a car $150 gas for the rental car $35-$50 rooms $200 tickects $100 food $40-$50 money of stuff at the con $100-$?
So total it could be $650 minimun

Rooms are $140 (about) a night, right? So, does a room hold 4 people? So, if I'm doing it right, Christy and I (and the boy wonder) will be about $350 (5 nights) - give or take.
$350 - McElroys $100 - Tickets $200 - Gas (truck) ____ $650 + incidentals....
I was thinking that we might be able to shave off some $$$s on food if we do a little grocery shopping... If the room has a microwave and a fridge, we could do the fully cooked stuff. It'd be cheaper than buying food at different places. We could bring the quesadilla maker, a toaster, and a hotplate. If anyone has a toaster oven, we could bring that. If the hotel has guidelines against the use, we could just do it in the bathroom...that way we could hose down any potential fires easily.
But then again, we may want to just have restaurant food...
On the trip up, I figure some snack food on the way and a grease bomb halfway there.
