So Joe and I are working our way though the first season of True Blood.
I have to say I really like it so far. I even brought the first Sookie Stackhouse book last week.

I had read the books before I started watching this.
I love the books, but only about half the plot ends up in the show and the other half of the show is pure invention.
But I still like both!
After reading the books, though, I'm not positive I agree with all of the casting.

I'm only about 50 pages in the book. For some reason I am not wild about the first person POV.

I think that the first person point of view is meant to keep you a little off balance, kindof like Sookie would feel trying to keep everyone else's thoughts out of her head!

Have you watched the Band of Brothers series yet? There will be another WW2 series coming out in March on HBO called The Pacific. It looks awesome!!

Band of Brothers is a great series. I've been watching it over and over on History Channel.
I hope the Pacific is just as good!
