Misty and I watched this movie last night and I was thinking "How in the hell did this movie win Best Picture of 1977? Especially over Star Wars?" All it was about was some nervous Jew pining over some woman. There was nothing new or original about the movie. It was nowhere near as groundbreaking as Star Wars. #angry#

I know that, but I expected it to be at least halfway funny. I guess the movie snobs of 77 couldn't see the cultural impact of Star Wars...
