We are planning on leaving to Waco as early as 6 AM Friday morning. We are not in a mandatory evacuation zone but we are surrounded by them, so we thought it was safer to just leave. We've been so busy packing that's why we've been so slow to respond. Thanks for all of the support. Can't wait to be back in Waco.

I got back safely into Houston with a few slow-ups around Conroe to find a gas station to get into a line to get gas. My apartment was just fine but a window in the bedroom did have some leakage. I am so thankful that I was not on the top floor wear shingles were torn off and roofs began to leak. We got power about 1 hour after we got to apartment. My parents still don't and have been staying in my tiny one bedroom apartment. It was great seeing you guys, just wish it had been under better circumstances. Thanks again to John and Misty for allowing us to crash at your new pad.
Work has been hell. I was called into work that night we got back. We are still trying to catch-up on all of the lost time and still haven't unpacked a lot of things.

Glad to hear you made it back alright and that you only had an hour without power. Hopefully your parents and Andrew's will get their power back soon. Hang in there, things will get back to normal eventually.
