I haven't been on SWG for about two weeks or more. Is it just me or is anyone getting the feeling that there isn't too much more to this game?

So I got into the bata for Jump to Lightspeed and I must say it's very cool. I joined the Rebellion as a pilot and got a Z95 Headhunter

Welcome, brothersuess! Unfortunately, none of us are still playing (that I know of)... I probably would if I had more $$$ to spend on it. I enjoyed it, but I didn't enjoy spending time on Tattoine digging up metals and what not. Seemed a little slow at times. But I guess you can't start out making Manalorian armor at the beginning!
If I ever do get back into it, I'll look you up!

I played Galaxies for a few months before I caught the City of Heroes bug. I enjoyed it alot but I think it was too much role playing for my tastes. Since I don't have alot of gaming time lately I prefer to just kill stuff. Speaking of when are we have a HALO night again?

Speaking of when are we have a HALO night again? I thought you and Joe weren't into HALO anymore. At least that's the impression I got last time I tried to set it up.

New map pack releases on July 5th. Will have 5 "New" maps (unavailable until the 5th) and 4 "old" maps (available for download via xbox live). I have Turf, Sanctuary, Warlock and Containment. Elongation, Relic, Backwash, Gemini, and Terminal will be released with the map pack. I think the pack will be available for $20, and will also include some documentary footage and music, as well as the 1.1 update. So far from what I've played: Containment is the Sidewinder of H2 - it's big, and can be fun, but mostly it's just too big. Use of banshees here is really a bonus. Warlock is a rehash of Wizard, but feels much more playable, and a lot more fun - especially in slayer modes. Turf - I just got this on Monday (free download a day early). Looks like a good 4x4 slayer. Much potential Sanctuary - seems like a modified Beaver Creek, in that it's symmetrical, with bases at each end. And no sniping areas. Out of the 4 available, I'd rate them Turf, Warlock, Sanctuary, and Containment - Turf being #1. The new maps coming out look awesome. Here's a flyby for most of the maps.Elongation is a rehash of Longest from Halo. But it looks like it'll be used for more than just rockets. Lots of potential. Backwash is a small map with fog - should make for some good 'scares'. Terminal has a high speed train running through the middle. I can't wait to get nailed by it. Relic looks like a great 1 flag CTF or bomb assault as well as various slayer modes, and maybe even sniping as well. Gemini hasn't be talked about, and I haven't seen any pics released yet. On the website it says that it's a small map floating in space, great for slayer with a few friends. That's the rundown. If we decide to do a halo night, I'd like to do it after I have the map pack. Then we'd all be on level playing ground, since no one's got the maps... Takers? If we do, I'll do what I can to get John's live and my live up at the same time. We could do some decent stuff on line....

I read the article a few days ago. He raised a few good points. I played the 14-day trial and really enjoyed it. I liked it so much I bought the game but I only played 2 months.
It was CoH that drew me away in the end. SWG was too tedious and way too much of grind. In CoH I leveled so much faster and had more fun.
