Saturday Joe and I went to Austin for the sole purpose of going to Austin Books. If you've never been it's worth the trip. The place is great. Austin Books

I haven't been down there in a good while. I used to go there occasionally when I lived in San Marcos.

We wondered where you guys were heading when we passed you. Twice. I figured a trip to Austin to check out comic books and toys... I suppose I wasn't too far off.

That's cool. I can't believe Joe grew up a stone's throw from Austin and never saw the capital!
Yeah, the first time we passed you (on the way to G'ma's house), I flashed the cargo light, tapped the brake, and dropped the hazards for a second. The second time, we came on the ramp just in front of you, so I figured I'd just wave.
If you two get a chance sometime, head down to the Hyde park area (just a little east and south of Austin Books) and drive around. Nice little parks and old houses. Park the car and take a stroll.
Oh, and is Austin Books new? or is it a name change? Isn't that the other Bankston's? It looks like it's in the right spot, but I never remember it being called Austin books.

It does belong to Bankston's. Brad(Brent's brother) runs it. The store has been there a long while.

Yeah, I used to ride by it on my bike when I worked at the McD's just down the street there. I always enjoyed seeing the inflatable spider man. It brought me great joy.

And I thought Robert was the only one who liked inflatable people...

I suppose technically its gender is male, but its sex is neuter. But anyway...

We didn’t see you wave but we got back on the highway I said to Joe it had to be the family Brood. He agreed when 15 seconds later a wrap tunnel opened and the trunk disappeared. And I think we did end up in the Hyde Park area. We played a round of guess the property taxes. I’ve got some pictures I should post. We had a great day.
