I just got a new job working as a lab technician. I haven't started yet but I will be working a regular 8-5 PM job with EVERY weekend off. Wish me luck guys.

Well, we are pretty much an old married couple now. All we do is work, sleep, and eat. I am really kind of nervous about this new job. It's been a long time since I have been in a medical environment. I just hope that I don't mess up on the first day.

Well, it's completely different than the jobs that I have had in the past. First off, I got to sit on my ass and just type all day. I could take my breaks and lunch whenever I wanted to. I didn't have to deal with anyone other than my co-workers. I just feel so weird being out of retail. I am going to have to get a hobby with the evenings and weekend off. |

My dad is a toxicologist for the Department of Public Safety in Waco. He has been doing it for about 25-30 years now I think. He actually goes out of town to teach at clinics sometimes for people who are becoming toxicologists. Don't know if you had to go through any training like that, but if you did, you may have met him along the way. Congrats on the new job.
