Is it just me or is there nothing to do this weekend? I am always bored because there simply is nothing to do in waco.

There is plenty to do in Waco. First off, anytime you feel bored, you can come clean my garage.
But seriously, No No Nanette was being put on by MCC Theater and sounded like it was really good (I sit next to the male lead in my Philosophy class). I would have gone, but missed out.
There's the Art Center of Waco, which always has some good pieces showing. David and I went a couple of weeks ago and he seemed to enjoy it. He liked the one that was off the New Mexican desert (I think?) It was red and yellow and orange and he really noticed it. That and the big JOE statue.
Something was going on at the hippodrome last night, probably some Baylor deal... lots of college age people there.
Then there's the same-old same-old theater movies, dvd rentals, pizza, xbox, etc...
Last night we went to Damon's, which incidentally has really fallen to the wayside. I wasn't impressed with the food, but I was impressed with Christy and I's knowledge of music on the NTN trivia deal. We came in first with over 13000 points.
On a smaller note, the MCC All-Employee Exhibition is going on in the CSC-F bldg (Old Waco High) and while small, it's interesting. Dale Hughes' paintings are worth the drive over.
I think there's always something to do here in Waco, you just gotta put a little effort into looking.

Doesn't mean you can't rake leaves, cut the hedges and trim the trees. Grab the trash bags and the rake the hedgetrimmers and some duct tape. Now get and the yard and don't come back till sunset. If you do a good job you'll get paid with cash, not a check. But if you don't get every twig and blade of grass, all you'll get is some hot words and a lot of sass.

Or, you can come to my house and babysit the kids. Just make sure you bring corndogs, waffles and cups with lids. While we're out you can pick up all their toys, change their sheets, and put up with their noise. I know it's not easy; not for the faint hearted, and after a while they'll make you feel retarded. But by the time we get back you'll be happy to see us in fact, you'll be so happy that you'll thank Jesus. And you'd probably run out the door so fast that you'd leave without taking your cash. The kids really aren't that bad, but the truth is they act just like I did. I love my two kids.
Still bored?

Thanks, I was listening to some Eminem freestyles, so I was a bit inspired. I almost thought I scared everyone off.
