Anyone else watching the games?
So far this year I've been mesmerized by the Curling.
I love figure skating but it has been on while I'm at work so I haven't seen any yet.

its seems the U.S. is getting raped this time.I dont think they are doing very well.The summer olympics is when they really do well.EDIT:ok mabye they are doing alright,they are in a three-way tie for third place.

Okay, I shamefacedly admit that I've been taping all of the nights that have skating in them. I even watch the daily Olympic Ice show on USA.
I only watch it at Olympics time; I don't know why I don't watch it at other times.

I watched some the other night. Moguls. The guy announcing had a lisp that made Sylvester sound like Professor Higgins. After that they replayed the luge from earlier that night.
Seems like NBC was bragging about getting all the coverage to get, but if that was the case, why would they replay earlier events?
Anyone remember the deal they did where you could watch one of three channels?

yeah toby,the three channel thing never worked because nobody watched it.That was a total flop.

I've barely watched any of this year's Olympics. None of the "sports" really interest me.

I try to catch the Nationals but I haven’t in a long time. Part of me felt bad for Michelle Kwan last week when she pulled out. I’ve always liked her but she did have her chance in the past two games and was just out skated. I read that all the ice dancers fall in competition. That’s funny since they’re not suppose to leave the ice. And it is on three channels this year (NBC, USA , and CNBC) it is just not on 24/7  |
