I watched the 4th quarter when we got in last night. It was 24-23 USC when I turned it on. It was an incredible 4th quarter. I could imagine what the rest of the game was like.

Congrats to The Texas Longhorns and their 1st National Championship since 1969.....
Vince Young was awesome in this game....3 TDs, Passed for 267yds, 200 yds rushing....
Now the question is,.....Is He going into the draft???....If so that would be a Heck of a game to end your college career on.

A student already had a Rose Bowel UT '06 shirt on today.
I guess no one believes in temping fate anymore #lol#

Christy asked me last night what happens to the shirts for the losers. We decided that they change them so they say something to the effect of National Champions Runner Up.
They do it at every big event. There are shirts made up by both sides and the loser has to burn the stuff.
What did surprise me the most was that the Wheaties box was already on the sidelines.... sheessh. Sometimes I just wish they'd show us the 'wrong' shirts so that we could see whose design was better.

They are probably the same design except for the team colors and logo.

At the Div III nationals, they have both shirts printed up for both teams and just discard they ones that lose.
That shows how much they make on them, that they can throw out half their inventory and still make money!

T-shirts is a big money maker. You buy shirts at wholesale for like $1-2/per shirt. Spend another $3-4 to put stuff on it, then BOOOM sell them for $15-$20 and you got a profit. I'm sure the profit margin for 'championship' t-shirts is even bigger than that.
