I have a 19"monitor, it looks good to me at this resolution, but John you were killing me with the super fine resolution on your laptop and the supersmall letters..  , man my eyes were hurting when i was reading, but it does do really well with video... |

If I don't have the resolution on my laptop at 1920 by 1200, it has gray bars on each side since it is a widescreen. My 19" monitor at home is however a 4:3 like a regular ole tv. Therefore, I have the resolution at 1024 by 768 on that one.

1152 x 864 at home and what I can get at work it varies from computer to computer.
