Anyone ever noticed that there's a commercial (usually on g4) that uses the lightsaber powerup/down sound? It says eAcceleration and www.stopsign.com and is a popup blocker. I never notice the commercial until I hear the saber power up and then I almost break my neck looking, only to be disappointed with some pop up blocker commercial   |

Doesn't it freak you out? Commercial comes on, I get up do something, hear the Pshhhh and so I race back to the TV to find out I need their pop up blocker. Then I slump to the floor and wish that I could watch Star Wars. And then I do.

There was some movie I saw on HBO in the mid-late 80s that used a lot of Star Wars sounds. I think it was that one where the 'hero' flies some sort of moose shaped spaceship.

heh I was away from my folks when I saw it. I think.
But no really, there was a movie that used a lot of Star Wars movie sounds. It may not have been that one movie I'm talking about - has anyone seen that one? The ship was brown, and had two nacelles? at the front, and the body of it looked like a riding horse... I'll look for pictures.

I've heard a few Star Wars sounds in some MST3Ked movies. The tie fighter mostly.

The moose shaped starship I was thinking of is from Battle Beyond the Stars, but I'm not sure the sounds are from Star Wars. |

Space Mutiny used footage from Battlestar Galactica and a few Star Wars sounds. God awful flick I might add but one of the best MST3K ever.
