Anyone interested in seeing the famed Area 51? maps.google.comClick on Hybrid. (shows terrain and roads) Center on Las Vegas. Zoom into the 20mi. scale Move the map so that the Nevada/Utah State line is about 1/2inch from the edge. Also, put Vegas at the very bottom of the map. This should put a small round white spot (Groom Lake) near the center of the map. Zoom into that spot to about the 2mi. scale. You should see some roads and buildings. And 2 runways that angle from the NW to the SE. That, my friends, is Area 51. I was watching some UFO show the other night, and they sort of pointed out where it was, so I looked it up.

Cool program.
I sadly play with Google maps...alot. It's one of the few sites I can get to since the filter went on the server at work.

Google earth rocks! As for area 51, I've seen specials on it. They don't let anyone get too close. Roswell is fun though. We went there on vacation a few years ago. The alien museum in town is worth the trip alone.
