He announced his retirement today after 15 seasons in the NFL. He was definitely one of the greatest running backs to ever play the game.

Emmitt was damn good for 9 seasons after 11 he should have retired, 12 is acceptable, 15 son it's time to let it go I mean just look at yourself you've already lost dignity you're never going to get back. IT'S OVER! I'm just happy I got to live through the 2nd great era of backs including arguably the best of all time Barry, Barry, Barry(Red Grange, Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Barry Sanders take your pick they're all the right answer)
