Okay, okay! I just got home from the hospital a little while ago. David and I will be staying at home, while Christy and Zada stay overnight at the hospital. Zada was born at 1:27p this afternoon, and she weighed in at 8lbs 14ozs. That's 5ozs more than David! She's 19 inches long (David was 21) and doesn't have webbed toes like her brother. Here's the kicker: She's redheaded! hehe. I knew she would be. I hoped that she wouldn't be, but somehow, I just knew. Visiting hours are from 10a - 8p (I think), so if you want to stop by, feel free. Christy and Zada should be released sometime tomorrow. They're in Rm. 503; you may want to call first, just in case. Providence. She looks better after the 'crud' was cleaned off of her. But, I took most of the pictures with film, rather than the digital camera, so I posted what I took. I'm sure I'll get more tomorrow. Oh, and I'll need to put up the short video I took.... edit - .... except it didn't turn out. I don't know if it's the stupid tapes or if the camera needs cleaning. damn. Man, David was a handful today. Our 'sitter' fell through. He woke up at 4:45 this morning all rarin' to go. He finally went back to sleep sometime after 7a and slept till almost 9. Then he was up all friggin day. Didn't take a 'nap' until about 7:30 tonight. Man, I hope he sleeps through the night. He seems to be interested in Zada. He gets concerned when she wimpers. He'll be a good big brother, I feel.  |

Thanks for stopping by guys. Christy wasn't annoyed; she was glad you dropped by. She enjoys knowing that everyone else is as happy as we are.
She sure is light, eh? Funny thing is, she weighs more than David did when he popped out! I guess he's put on a few pounds since then....
Yesterday's schedule kinda messed him up, though. He and I got in last night just before 7p and by 7:30 he was out! Except for waking up a couple times, he slept almost non stop from 7:30p to 9:30a! He's napping right now, too. Soon as we drove a little bit, he sacked. I was hoping to stop by WalMart, but oh well, maybe later.

Yeah, I need to take that thing down, eh? I took some more pictures today, but left them at the hospital.  Plus, my dad's gonna email me the pics he took, and I'll put those up... Edit - I updated my sig, so that you can get all the cuteness you can stomach. I was going to make the red border into a heart shape, but thought I would puke once I saw it, so I removed it. I mean we're cute enough, adding a heart would only make the sweetness too much to handle! It would be like be like Bush's Tea with Cold Stone Ice Cream and a big cake with sugar poured on it. It's all good, but in the end, you'd really just vomit. |
