Clay Harrison, aka Nightcrawler13, from the DFW FanForce will be joining us.
We'll have another soon, hopefully. Then I'll set up the draft and we'll have our first game on opening weekend.

It's all full now. We have Clay from Dallas, and I'm guessing his name is Pat from the TDH boards. I posted a message on the league boards and directed everyone here to our boards, specifically this thread.
I will set the draft to happen on Monday, so be sure to get your draft rankings done this weekend. Trades can start shortly after that. Good Luck, bitches!
EDIT- I can only set the draft to ready, and since it's autodraft, it will happen within 72 hours of being ready. So, I'll set it to be ready on Saturday afternoon, that way everything will be final around Monday.

I set the draft status to ready at 3:15p, so if you haven't finished your draft order, then you need to finish it by monday. I think the auto draft will take place on tuesday. The site doesn't say when it happens, just that it happens within 72 hrs.

I've gone through and ditched the players I don't want and picked up the ones I thought I could use.
Let the TRADES begin!
I recommend you have 2 kickers and 2 DEF, so that if one isn't playing, you at least score some points.

I have Clinton Portis!!! I am happy. Now, I have to learn who the other players are on my team. I really have no idea what I am doing and the only reason I wanted Portis is because I met him and he was a really nice guy.

Just keep an eye on your players, and if you feel that you need better players, look to add some. You'll need to drop some too, usually. If you drop your lower rated players for some higher rated players, you usually come out on top.
Some things I recommend:
Have two QBs, Ks and DEFs. If that team has a bye, then you'll miss out on those points and have to drop a player in order to pick up a replacement. That means that others can pick up your dropped player also.
Don't pick up too many players on the same team, because of bye weeks.
If someone has a player you want, elicit a trade. Worst that could happen is they say no. In my experience, most people don't trade, but it does happen.
Pay attention to the weekly stats. Even the preseason stats help (although they tend not to be accurate.) If your star (portis) pulls up lame in practice on Thursday, you need to put in another player! IR usually means you need to drop that player for another. Unless they have a mild injury, they probably won't play well the rest of the season.

well i didnt get around to doing the pre draft but got a pretty stong team, if i was the 4th pick how the hell did i get tomlinson. im stoked at RB, but if i wanna throw up some points i have to bank on the saints (brooks , horn and chambers)
oh im also a 49er fan so i almost vomitted when i saw a garcia. well im off to clean out some dead weight on the bench

Yeah, I got a good team. Manning, Harrison and Moss. Not sure my running backs are that great. Have the best kicker too. Guess I'll be ok for awhile.

i was taught to get RB's that run and catch good. i have tomlinson and faulk, i also have the stud out of houston who will go up if faulk starts sucking ass like he did last year.  ... who ended up with holmes?? |

well i think i did pretty good, got last years #1 defense from the Cowboys, got Dante Culpepper and Dante Hall, .........and John I thought I got the best kicker, well atleast he was the league leader
