I had the cable guy here again today to fix my problems. He replaced my modem and the cable splitter in the outside box. Of course it worked like a charm while he was here and low and behold, thirty minutes later, I'm havin' the same problems again.

the guy obviously did not troubleshoot the problem .that is a big no no.

The first guy didn't, this guy did more testing. I guess they need to replace the cable in the attic too.

I can't even get online with my computer this morning. I'm posting from my uncle's laptop this afternoon. I'm gonna nip this in the bud on Thursday since I'm going to Dallas tomorrow.

If it's in the house, will they fix it? Or is it your responsibility? (Like the phone co.?)

Got a guy to come fix it this afternoon around 3. If it doesn't get fixed, I'm calling Grande. This is getting ridiculous.

He replaced the tap on the cable line by the pole outside. Hopefully this will work. Keepin my fingers crossed.
