I am having a slight problem. Everytime I log on or boot up, the quick launch bar is gone. Rather annoying. Anyone have a clue as to what it could be?

You know, next to the start button. Usually on the bottom left of the screen. I think the default is 'Show Desktop', 'Iternet Explorer', 'Media Player', and 'Outlook Express'. When I log off, it disappears. I have to right click the bottom toolbar, unlock toolbars, go to the toolbars->quick launch to get it back. Rather annoying.

I think that each account has its own icons and features and when you log off they dissappear because they are unique to your account.

No, no. It's only been doing this recently. I think that Ad Aware or Easy Cleaner had something to do with it. I think it deleted something in the registry that keeps it loaded. It's always been there from the start.
I think I may see if the system restore will put it back.

system restore should work but remember to use a restore point that is older than your ad aware or easy cleaner that you put on recently.

No, no. Ad aware and easy cleaner have been on almost since the beginning. The problem happened only recently. It's not the programs that are the problem, but something that happened when they ran. Probably something that one of them removed that had attached itself to something in the registry. That's what I'm thinking. I've read about it, and it seems others have had this problem, but there isn't a good solution as of yet.

You could try readding to the registry.
