Well, we took our little 'puter with us to Houston to do some miniDV editing and what not, and found that our system was left wanting.
Did away with all Compaq (Christy bought this from me at Office Depot in 2000) stuff and fdisk'd the hard drive and formatted it so it is now like a 'normal' computer.
But, we decided that we needed to go ahead an upgrade. New Mobo, processor, RAM and HD is on its way here.
Yes, it puts back the saving for C3 just a bit, the videos of David take precedence....

That's cool. Believe it or not, I've assembled a few 'puters in my time. I think John will come over and laugh at me while I assemble without a wrist strap or a proper screwdriver. I find it's always best to use a slightly rusty butterknife, with old butter on it, but only after you rub it back and forth on the shag carpet in the dead of winter. Oh, and I found out from my brother that if you attach the power cable to a hard drive backwards while it's plugged in and on, will cause it not to work. heh.

Checked the order today. Hard Drive will be here today, and the Ram, Processor, and MoBo should be here tomorrow.
Figures that I wouldn't be able to get it all at once!

I'm not sure if I'll have time to come by. I'll call if I do. Are you scheduled to work tomorrow?

Thanks for coming by and helping put this thing together, John. It's running nicely. When I started it up, it loaded everything before the music stopped. Man, that is really nice. I told/showed Christy and she asked if I was just going to shut it down and restart it over and over. I did. But mainly to install cards/software. I added that second hard drive so that I could load some drivers, and it's working fine. Now the total space is 100GB.
