Anybody been watching this series comes on before/after Galactica on SciFi?

I'm just wondering because there was one episode a week or so agao that didn't seem to fit in with all of the others like it was originally a reshot pilot or something?

The main detective's hair is shorter, Dresden's apartment looks different, and the Bob/ghost/whatever he is wasn't in the episode at all.

If you watch this series, did you notice it too, or was it just me?

I did. I love Baker's books so I was estatic when they picked it up as a series. The one you saw was the very first episode and I have to say that I found it very disappointing, esp based upon what I know from the books. I almost didn't watch it again after that. Thankfully it has gotten better with time.

But I still like the books better
