The husband bought Lost season 1 a week ago and we finished it today.
I must say I was pleased. I had never seen an episode until now and bought the show based solely on the hype.
I wonder how long they can keep this type going and still be interesting.
Does season 2 start tonight or next Wednesday?

The new season starts next Wednesday (the 21st). I'm glad Misty and I aren't the only ones watchin the show. Now we have another show to geek out about. We watched disk 2 of Season 1 tonight. It's kinda hard to watch just one episode...

Lost and Alias are two shows I watch pretty faithfully, so I'm looking forward to next week too.

Joe and I are going VCR shopping before then. So what do you think is down the hatch? You should take a look at connecting your computer to the cable for DVR capabilities. I think that would be hella cool. Or look for some DVRs....

DVR's are kewl. I'm sure Grande has them if Time Warner does. We are halfway through disk 3 now, FYI.

May have to get the Digital Package to get a DVR. I'm just now getting used to having more than 4 channels. Maybe sometime in the future I can handle hundreds upon hundreds of channels.

Dude, even with hundreds of channels, I probably watch around 10 of them. I wish you could just pick and choose which channels you wanted and not have to pay for some "package deal".

That's it John! We need to start up our own cable company! We'll offer up hundreds of channels, but you can pick and choose which channels you want. We could do like a basic 10 channel, 25 channel, 50 channel, 100 channel, etc... that would solve the world's problems then!
Now I'm gonna go out and buy a van.

We looked it a DVR but I really don't want digital cable that I won't watch. It just is not worth the money.

I hear ya. We wouldn't have cable either, if Grande didn't offer a deal that was only $10 more than what we paid already. And yes, Rod, I suppose I could be a spokesperson for them. I have to say I really enjoy everything about them.
Now, back to the topic. I thought about it, and I think what's down the hatch may be a spin off.

I've always liked Grande cable the only thing I changed is how the channels are ordered. I really like Grande phone, cable, and internet for 90 a month Anywho... I'm thinking something it has something to do with the smugglers. And speaking of that I really hope Charlie didn't pick up drugs with the statue.

I have a theory on why there are creatures on the island, Locke can walk and Jack sees his dad. I believe the island can manifest things from the castaways subconsciious, will and fears. Walt is an obvious one, you are shown the pic of the polar bear in that GL/Flash comic. Thoughts?

I like the way the channels are - means I don't have to remember a specific number for a channel, just an area - like sports starts at what, 23? 24? then I work up from there. Same with news and cartoons. Makes it a little easy to figure out. And the spanish and home shopping are off my tv! heheh.
I suppose when I get time later, I'll see if I can borrow the season one Lost set. I know Christy will most likely enjoy it. And I could pick up on stuff.

I like checking in on the sports channels, but I need to take 21 and 22 off. I got tricked into seeing some 20something tell me why he saved himself for marriage. It looked hip and upcoming, and then I was like, wha? I would have kept watching, but he started saying how he loved his wife before he ever met her and it was the ultimate gift. Hey, that's cool, but when he forgets his anniversary or he brings home something by Black & Decker for her gift, I'll bet he'll be thinking how much he loved her before he ever met her.
I like the majority of channels I get, but Lifetime, Hallmark, and LIfetime Movie all need to come off. Only stuff on the Digital tier that would be interesting would be the kids stuff (100-105), the Military Channel (formerly Discovery Wings), possibly MTV2 and VH1 stuff (if they actually show videos), and the music channels.
