I was thinking of writing a screenplay for an updated remake/movie of the A-Team. Then I saw this. Oh well. Was reading the forums on IMDB and who they felt should play each part. I noticed that the white guys are officers and the black guy (Mr.T) was enlisted. Nice combo. The original 'A-Team' were four VietNam vets framed for stealing gold from Hanoi. I think the updated version should be four Gulf War vets or Iraqi War vets, and should show how the A-Team came about. I was thinking something along the lines of 'Three Kings,' since they broke the rules (A-Team didn't, they were just framed) and then ended up helping those around them. George Clooney as John 'Hannibal' Smith Ice Cube as Bosco Albert "B.A." Baracus Kristen Kreuk as Tyler "Face" Peck Luke Wilson as H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock Why? Clooney and Cube had great chemistry on "Three Kings" Clooney is the 'seasoned veteran' and could easily fill Preppard's shoes. Cube, sans mohawk and gold chains, can be buff, and has the tough guy/soft hearted part down. Kreuk as Face because they need a chick, and besides, a chick could do what face did anyway, plus she's pretty but not overly so. Luke Wilson as Murdock, because he can be wacky and not over the top (like Jim Carrey might do as Murdock). So, who do you see as the updated candidates? Don't be limited to sex/ethnicity. I could also see Sam Jackson as Hannibal, too.
