Actually, I wouldn't mind watching this movie. I was puking at the drivel love crap that Joe and Elizabeth were spewing. I was disappointed that it was showing here, but then remembered what a suckass town this is and if you do anything that's not PRO-BUSH (not that it's anti-bush), then you will probably go straight to hell.
I think America needs this movie, and it's a perfect example of free speech. One may or may not agree with the content held within this movie, but the point of the movie is to get people to start a conversation, to show how different we are. Not how right or wrong we are, how conservative or liberal we are. (Although most 'conservatives' I've met/known, are more liberal than they let on)
If it wasn't for the cash flow right now, I'd be all over it. Plus the whole babysitting thing if Christy wants to go. Plus my schedule is almost only open in mornings.
America is definately fickle. We wanted the blood of people 'responsible' for the attacks, but when Bush actually took it to that level, America felt that it was wrong. Now, I don't feel that Iraq should have been our target. Granted, Saddam should have been removed, but the guise that we were given under this administration was a poor one. I feel that Bush (or at least his people) did a great job in handling the situation, but everything afterwards was a bit slipshod.
The thing I find ironic, is that Cheney's company won the bid to take care of the oil. Yeah, that'll make them terrorists love us more!
