Carrie and I and the girls went to see it yesterday, we loved it, I actually want to see it again, this is definately not a kids movie like the previous ones....

No, not in the least. Granted, she did write them in a way that pre-teen through adults can read them and enjoy them, but I would definately say that they are kiddie books. Especially when the last 3 (yr 3,4,5) are all over 700 pages long. Quite a feat when you compare the movie to the book, seeing as only somethings were changed, or left out.

I went and saw it with my seven year old sister and I don't know if I liked this one as much as the earlier ones but I think it was just some of the concepts in this movie that bothered me.

I liked this one as much as the other two. The guy who directed this one also directed Y Tu Mama Tabien which was a coming of age story also, just really sexually charged.
did anyone get the "harry playing with his wand under the sheets" joke at the beginning?
;D

it's a metaphor for masturbation. ... sneaking around under the sheets... a wand...almost getting caught...
