What was the first comic to impact you on a personal level, or at least make you talk out loud while you were reading it?

I would have to say that the very first comic book that I read made the biggest impact on my life today because it opened my eyes to the beauty that are comics. This is not going to be a surprise to anyone but the first comic I ever read was Fathom #1.
A comic of recent that totally made my jaw drop was Teen Titans #3 because what Deathstroke did to Impulse was just not right on any level. I couldn't believe that a comic that was just re-starting would do something like to one of its main characters already.

I'd have to say every issue of the Dark Knight Returns mini-series by Frank Miller.
