I plan on renting Sahara tomorrow. I've heard good things about it. Toby loaned me Napolean Dynamite today, so I have plenty to watch.

As a movie by itself I'm give it a D-
Very good performances from Michael Cane and Morgan Freeman. As great of an actor Michael Cane is I still found him out of place Alfred. But I was pretty unimpressed by the rest of the cast. Which is a shame because I’m huge Gray Oldman fan.
Gotham City itself wasn’t all that special. The fight sequences were ho-hum. I could go on but…

I thought Oldman was great as Gordon. His character (along with most of the plot) was very true to the comic book. I liked the new spin on Ras, but thought Scarecrow was under used. Katie Holmes was maybe a little too young for the role. Other than that I don't have many gripes.

I don't think I've ever seen G.Oldman in a bad role. Usually I'm like "that was him?" when I find out who it was. He's a great chameleon actor.

Just finished watching it. Pretty good. Slow build up. Nice payoff. My only problem with it was the microwave transmitter deally. If it vaporizes water, shouldn't that have an effect on the humon body? I mean, the human body is what, 90% water? Seems like the people around it would pretty much die. Painfully.

I saw "Waking Lives" again a couple of days ago watching it makes you feel like the whole world is in a big bubble of glass and you're rubbing up against it like a bad windshield wiper.

We got Red Dragon and Saw from Netflix this week.
We watched Red Dragon last night. We both enjoyed it a lot. I caught the begaining of it on USA last week. I didn’t really want to see it before then. Ralph Fiennes made a really convincing psycho. He reminded me of Norman Bates, he would be sympatric if it weren’t for all the killing. Really good cast and story, I recommend it if you like 'The Silence Of The Lambs'

Watched Kingdom of Haven over the weekend. It was pretty good but really long. I thought it took a little too long to pick up and get going. However once it got going I enjoyed. I’m glad I waited for DVD though.
Next from NetFlix…Lost in Translation and Rushmore.
