It's early yet. I know Mark from DCC is going to JediCon in Germany next month to try to con...err, convince Rick McCallum to attend, and hopwfully Hasbro will have their fall/winter lineup there so we can see the new supersized Falcon ;D

Well, Drew and I are planning on going to this one. I really enjoyed Steve Sansweet last time so why not see what he has to say. We will probably be staying in Plano both Friday and Saturday nights. If you guys want to share a room, let me know.

don't forget the free theatrical-sized poster for FDII you can get for FREE. The link is on their front page, costs only $6.95 to cover shipping as it is large and heavy (over one pound). They say limit one per order, so I'm going to send in at least three orders; one for me, one for the wife, and one for everyone to sign and raffle off for charity ;D
Elizabeth, we need to get a table again this year! I was going to wait until after SDCC to get started but since the site has already updated send me a pm over on the JC or myspace or wherever and we'll start hashing something out. I'd like to think we can top ourselves from last year!

beat me to it ;D at first I thought $79 was too much, but that includes: not one, but TWO autographs (you provide the items) a photo on your camera preferred seat for Q&A preferred seating for a screening of EVIL DEAD II I'm trying to find out if the preferred seating is just for the ticketholder or if it can be for the ticketholder + 1, as I'm sure Erika and I, as well as Liz and Joe, wouldn't dare dream of paying double just to get into Q&A and a movie  anyways, here's a picture linky (groovy!):  edit: ticket prices are up. VIP is $75.00 available online now, limited to 100 tickets SpeedPass is $25 at the door only General Admin is $15 on Sat, $10 on Sunday. Basically aimed at those only going up for one day. |

Just as we suspected and missing 3 weeks of school, Drew and I are going to have to cancel on this trip. If anyone wants our reservations for the La Quinta which is $45/night (booked for Friday and Saturday nights) with two full size beds, just shoot me a PM or post here so I can transfer it. Also you get an additional discount if you have a Sam's Club card. It's cool if no one is interested.
