The Blockbuster gets this magazine called Video Store had a huge article about Clerks X and The Passion of the Clerks. Apparently, Kevin has decided to make this a fairly decent budget film and to actually pay the actors. Jason Mewes will also have a role in the Kevin penned movie, Green Hornet.
Smith Rehires CLERKS Wednesday September 1 1:00 PM ET
Sequel to the 1994 original will follow the same characters 10 years later.
By Lisa Johnson, FilmStew.com
Writer-director Kevin Smith is returning to his roots, making a sequel to 1994's Clerks. The Passion of the Clerks, which he wrote and is helming, will be distributed by Miramax Films. Principal photography is set to begin in January.
The stars of the original film, Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson, will be back, and Smith also will make an appearance with longtime sidekick Jason Mewes. The story follows the Quik Stop convenience store employees of the original film 10 years later. On Sept. 7, a three-disc 10th-anniversary DVD release of the film, titled Clerks X, will be released. It will include the original theatrical version of the film, an extended Sundance Film Festival cut and a new documentary. Smith says he fell in love with the characters all over again while working on the project.
Smith is represented by Endeavor. His latest big screen effort was Jersey Girl, and he is currently in the process of writing a screen adaptation of the comic book and television superhero The Green Hornet, also for Miramax.

I just bought a copy of Clerks X so I hope Kevin and Jason have a pen handy because I plan not only to bring that one but Jersey Girl, the director's cut of Daredevil, and Dogma at the least. Hehe.

Like the hooker friends buy for their virgin/soon-to-be-wed/lonley friend, I want to lose my con-virginity to the hooker whose name is wizcon. Can we take up a fund? And who'll take me on Saturday?

Okay, guys, I have two very important goals for this con.
Number One I will not make a fool of myself in front of Michael. So definitely no stalking this year.
Number Two I will be one of the Hotties that make it on the Wizard website. Apparently, I just need to wear really skanky clothes that reveal just about everything. I think I am cute enough to get on that webpage.
Please help me achieve this goal with outfit ideas and suggestions on how to optimize my skankiness.

Anything that minimizes flaws while maximizing the two most important assets: The T & the A is good, and remember God loves cleavage ;D
