As you may or may not know, I'm currently taking Digital Art I this semester. It's the first time it's been offered at MCC and I've really enjoyed it.
I am entering couple of the pieces I made using a scanner. Both of the pieces were fairly well received by the students and instructors, so I felt that I might do well to enter them into the student art exhibit. It's a juried show, meaning that it will be judged and prizes will be awarded. The show starts on March 27th and will be in the LTC Gallery - for those of you who haven't been before, it's on the ground floor of the Library, to the right of the Cafeteria as you come into the main doors.
So please, if you get a chance, go by the school and check it out. I'm really excited about it and hopefully it will help launch my career as an aspiring artist. But at the minimum, I'll at least have the experience.
I have to turn the pieces in on Wed., so I won't have them after that. If you want to see them before they go into the show, let me know and I'll show them to you.

The exhibit starts tomorrow if anyone is interested. I have one piece that will be in the show. I'm pretty excited about it, so if you can get out there and check it out, please do!

I wasn't able to see the exhibit yesterday, but I'm going to see it today.
