Drove to school early to get some things done. I had forgotten that the first few days of school mean no parking for anyone who isn't there by 7:30am. Ended up parking in the gravel, which meant almost a mile of hiking just to do a couple of things before heading to the CSC....
Stopped into the bookstore to find notebooks (none there) and a binder (not paying $4 for a binder, no matter how cool the MCC letters are), and the place was packed. I jumped out as quickly as possible. Headed to the LTC to make some copies. I'm gonna put a request in for a better copier, one that collates and staples. I'm sure Ron will love that.
Made it to my first class, News Photography, just in time, but not before exploring every building at the CSC. Apparently building D is inside building A, and building B is most easily accessible from building A. I have no idea if there's a building C, but if there is.... whooo boy, don't ask me to find it.
In class, I found out about the lab that isn't mentioned anywhere in the catalog that is needed... so now I am taking 17 hrs. Oh man. I think I should drop something.
I had 30 mins to get across campus for my public speaking class. Looks like a winner to me. Lots of work and research. A few minutes of talking.
Then I have 10 mins to get from the LA building to the HPE building, which if any of you know, is a decent hike. But, I made it and the class was entertaining. I hope it goes well.
Then I had a 2 hr break. Christy had a meeting at work, so I met up with her there, and we went to Wal-Mart to find some notebooks. Didn't find what I wanted, but the ones I got are pretty. Yep. Pink reflective flowers, blue reflective flowers, silver stars and gold stars. I don't think anyone will take off with these... hehehh.
Then Chemistry at 6p. The professor works for wilsonart in temple, and drives up. He gave his spiel, lectured on Ch1 for 20 mins and sent us on our way. Good times.
Got home, ate lasagna, watched Hustle and Flow with Rod, Nichole, and Christy. I really liked it, but I have a feeling no one else here will (excluding Rod). Now I will be reading for the near future.
Thank you, and goodnight.
