It just goes to prove when you have enough green pieces of paper(aka money)you can get away with ANYTHING.

Well, not that I have an opinion either way.... we weren't there, and it's up to the prosecutor to prove the case.
But I thought for sure he'd be charged with the alcohol to minors thing. Guess the jury felt that maybe the people were suing to get money, rather than justice.

Yeah, he's a great musician, no doubt about that. I just wish he'd have kept his self esteem about him. I wish he'd have kept the look he had from Thriller. Maybe all the PYT's throwing themselves at him really screwed up his perspective.

I was listening to the radio yesterday, and it appears that a couple of the jury members are now going to write books based on the trial. Worst part is that they said that they feel that Jackson was guilty, but caved in because they didn't want to be locked up in jury duty longer than they had to be.
If you didn't think he was guilty based on the trial, that's one thing. But to think he was guilty based on the trial, then not voicing your thoughts on it and just going along with what other people say is absolutely horrible. That's the true travesty here.

The simple truth is we don't know what happened. I highly doubt that the kids even know what happened anymore. Children can be coached and manipulated.
To me it's terrible thing either way. I hate to think anyone could be so sick and depraved to hurt a child in this way. Also to be falsely accused is horrifying.

The only thing is that this juror said (and the audio was played) that there was no doubt in her mind that the kid was molested, that he was happy that Jackson used him as his toy, and that Jackson should be sent away for a long long time. Then she voted not guilty.
Like you said, we don't know either way. My problem isn't necessarily whether he did or didn't, but for a juror to come out and say, 'Yes, I believe he was guilty' but turn around and vote not guilty, then sign a book deal... that's the travesty - not in the case, but for justice.

No such thing as blind justice. Juries since the 1900's have been blinded by celebrity. I hope that this juror is investigated and if charges can be filed they should be. The Americana justice system isn't perfect because the laws are enforced by humans. And humans act on different motives.
