One of my guilty lowbrow pleasures is watching to soap opera All My Children. I started watching with my mom and sister. I’ve watched it on and off since I was 15. It as really struck me as odd how many actors these two shows have in common.
The first is of course Sarah Michelle Gellar who played Kendall Hart (Erica Kane long lost daughter) from 1993-1995.
Michelle Trachtenberg, Buffy little sister was on AMC from 1993 to 1995. She played Lilith Benton Montgomery.
Rudolf Martin who played Dracula in the season 5 opener Buffy vs. Dracula. He starred as Anton Lang from 1993-1996. Oddly enough both actors had love scenes on both shows.
Lauren E. Roman who played Laura Kirk English from 1996-1998 also had a small role in “Earshot”
I just thought it was really strange.

What's really strange is that I watched AMC with my mom (it's what you do when you're a kid in the summer) from as early as I can remember. I stopped watching it later on and now have no idea who these people are. I do know that Kelly Ripa and Josh Duhamel (sp?) from Regis and Las Vegas, respectively, were both AMC stars. I saw Kelly on the show, but I never saw Josh. I"m still amazed that Susan Lucci still looks so good at 74. I remember when she was just 25....

Now that you mention it, I do remember Kendall somewhat. That picture is what made me remember.
-edit I also like how here IMDB 'biography' mentions nothing about AMC. I guess she was unemployed from 93 to 97 (years skipped in the bio). It also says 'long list' of movies... i think the missing word is long list of good movies. heh... but she was good in... no, wait... there was... hmm. nope. I did like seeing the end of cruel intentions.

I was raised on AMC and if I am at home around noon, I still find myself flipping to that show. So don't feel bad, Elizabeth. It's a weird obsession.
