All I want from Bush is for our troops to come home, Haliburton to go bankrupt, the world to hate us a little less, and him be gone in 4 yrs.
So much for the Redskins.

I'll never be ashamed to be an American, regardless of who's president.

I'm not ashamed to be an American (as long as I can play HALO), but I can be ashamed of my country.
The only point of this 'war' that I can see is to fatten some wallets while at the expense of America's poor. I'm not saying that we shouldn't have a presence, I'm saying that what we did was not ethical. There are many countries in this world that are going through similar problems, but we haven't extended a military arm in their direction. Civil unrest and dictatorships run rampant in South America and Africa, but I'll be damned if we send thousands of troops there to fix their problems. Basically it boils down to oil. They have it; we need it. I think it really is that simple. If Iraq didn't have oil wells, we'd probably not be there.
You could say that all these things are just coincidences, but damn, son, how many coincidences does it take to form a master plan? I think that GW may just set in motion the end of times, if he continues the way he's been going.

Um, I chose who I found truly annoying without trying to politically correct and came out a republican. That pretty much figures. My thoughts on the war is that America was scared and it lashed out at a certain group of people because we wanted revenge. Bush gave us the revenge we wanted then we bloodied our hands with it and are hurting the messenger. We wanted for the pain of 9/11 to stop and wanted fast, decisive action with little or no rational thought. Bush is a lose-lose situation. Bring back the troops and we leave hundreds perhaps thousands of innocents die in Iraq or we keep our troops there and lose more of our heroes. It's funny how we got what we asked for.

Why not go to Afganistan (sp?) where we knew where Osama was hiding...and we knew in fact that he was the one who was behind 9/11. Why not go after him...instead of finishing his Dad's war
