Here is a link to an article about the New Superman movie that is official and everything. www.superherohype.com/news/supermannews.php?id=2133Brandon Routh is our new Superman who just so happens to be younger than Tom Welling.  Rumored to be on the final cut list to play Lois Lane. Mischa Barton from "The O.C." Charisma Charpenter from "Angel" Mia Kirshner from "The Crow: City of Angels" Evangeline Lilly from "Lost" Natalie Portman from the "Star Wars" prequels Keri Russell from "Felicity" Anybody have any preferences? All I have to say is that the one episode that I saw of the The O.C., which was horrible, I didn't think Mischa Barton could act in so she's my least favorite choice. |

I think the Bryan Singer needs to do the same thing the he did with the casting of Clark....get a no named actress.

brandon has the perfect superman look(looks almost like reeve),but can he act?  ?.Cordy is WAAAY to sexy to be a lois lane.Lois has to be a "generic'"hottie.lilly or keri russell would fit that description. |

He has done a lot of television roles like on One Life To Live, Gilmore Girls, and some other shows and his first movie is something called Deadly which hasn't come out yet.

He has signed a contract to star in THREE different Superman movies and there are rumors that the third one could be a Batman/Superman crossover.
Another rumor is that guy that played Iceman in the X-men movies could be casted as Jimmy.

Aren't they the same age? The guy's name is Shawn Ashmore. He's 25. I am not sure how old Jimmy Olsen is supposed to be. If you are talking about Brandon Routh. Yeah, Shawn is exactly two days older than Brandon.  Yeah, he looks like a Jimmy Olsen. |

I always thought Lois was a brunette. Is she going to color her hair? Kevin Spacey should make a great Lex, as long as his dome looks good bald.  |

If your not sure about Kevin Spacey...watch the opening to Austin Powers in Goldmemeber.   For Lois...they need a seasoned actress so she can walk all over Clark...that is the essence of the character |

Kate is actually in a movie with Kevin that is set to be released called Beyond the Sea and apparently. she had great chemistry with Brandon.
