Smallville recaplet - The latest episode in a nutshell
Lex is kickin' it at a fancy thingytail party when he eyes a comely lass with a pink MP3 player. Before long, the two of them have left the party and are doin' it and doin' it and doin' it well (he represents queens, she was raised in Metrop'lis). The next morning, though, isn't so hot. Lex wakes up to a bloody body next to him. Call Law & Order! Suspecting a frame-job, a jealous Clark Kent investigates. With the help of Chloe and the now-benevolent Papa Luthor, Clark discovers that Lex was indeed framed by a woman he once slept with and then forgot all about. And it gets worse from there: Lex has been sleeping around like a tomcat with a porn collection (which would be nicely developed had we not been shown more evidence in the past suggesting he's a serial monogamist), and it's come back to haunt him. It's sexy, but not as sexy as it should be, dammit. Clark is figuring out, in that little walnut-sized brain of his, that Lex may have a dark side! Meanwhile, on a completely different show that happens to air on The WB in between chunks of Smallville, Lana Lang meets Jason's mom, who is Jane Seymour. She also may be a witch-burning lady from 1604 (whom we didn't see in last week's episode that I wanted to forget), according to a dream Lana had before she met the mom. Ooh, Lana, you have special powers and shit! They should do a show all about you. Except for that they already do.

What is going on with this stupid witch/Isobel/Lana thing? This show has gotten pretty damn crappy. I actually want more Lois. Dear God, another, totally useless female character, Lucy, is the focus of another whole show.

It was on last night, but honestly, I had no interest. Bringing witches into this series really isn't a good idea. I think this series is pretty much over. I think this story arc could be the "Jumping the shark" episode for Smallville. This season has been some strange escape for the writers apparently. I think this season should have concentrated more on Clark and Lex's drifting apart, and Clark coming more to realize that he's going to have to become Superman.

I think it would be interesting to see Clark move to Metropolis and try to balance paying for his lifestyle and saving the world. Maybe something happens and Clark gets some sort of money or stick tip from Lex, and he lives off the cash... maybe buys a house or something. We all know he doesn't need a car.

I never thought it was a good idea for them to introduce Lois but I have to admit that I miss seeing her when she is not on the show. She has some really witty lines and her chemistry with Tom Welling is subtle but definitely noticeable. I am so bored with Chloe and especially Lana. I don't even care that Chloe knows his secret now. I thought that would be very impactful but nope. Dear God, Lana doesn't have a role on the show anymore now that Clark has gotten over his crush on her and has stopped brooding about her. All you wanted to see was them to get together or not and they are definitely not. I hate the concept for the next show about Lucy, Lois's little sis, but that will get more Lois, yay!

Nope, I still watch the show. I thought the last episode was pretty good. I was wondering when Lucy would be introduced.

I've kind of lost interest. It's on, I hear it, but I don't always see it. Seems like the last episode was decent. The relationship between Lex and Clark didn't seem as stressed as it has been. Clark's getting careless with his powers, just darting off and doing crap. I think he needs to be a little more careful when he darts off, but hey, that's just my opinion.

Yeah, the show is not as spectacular as last season's and Lana needs to get off of the show already. I liked her better in Paris.

Also, Aquaman will be appearing in an episode where he is all over Lois and Clark appears to be very jealous.
The guy who is playing Arthur "A.C" Clark AKA Aquaman is Alan Ritchson.

James Marsters, for those of us who miss seeing him, will be appearing in Season 5 as Professor Milton Fine AKA Brainiac.
