I think it's a good teaser. I like the suit so far. Besides, his future was so bright that he had to wear shades. Until his parents died.

Saw it yesterday for my birthday and I loved it. I think it's the best of them all, but that's not saying much because I haven't loved the other ones.
I also might have been prejudged to like it because I really love Christian Bale!!
This was my dad's second time to see it. He sat next to me, and he kept punching me in the elbow before all of the really good scenes. The last time he's done that was with Rocky I!

Even though everyone says it's good and the reviews or favorable I still lack the desire to see it. I'm still unimpressed by the trailers and clips or Yahoo! Movies. edit: Insomnia blows.

It's no secret that I love Batman so seeing this movie was a must. There have been a lot of favorable reviews because it has a well written plot with a few twists and sheds a new light on why Batman may be such a tragic character. It does leave a bit to the imagination because the editing was a tad on the choppy side and Katie Holmes was such a poor DA and had no chemistry whatsoever with Bale but I think it is a great movie overall with surprisingly more storie than action.

I'll agree that Holmes was a bit wooden in this part. I guess I don't really understand the need for every heroic lead to have a leading lady/romantic interest, either. That makes me sound rather unromantic. I'm actually a romantic at heart, but not every story has to include romantic aspects to it. Sometimes it just gets in the way of the real plot/theme/characterization that I'd rather know more about.

I'm with Amidala on this one--I saw all the other Batmans, and they were ok (Not a huge Tim Burton fan--except for Edward Scissorhands--way cool movie). I just haven't seen anything on the previews or trailers that caught my attention. I find the comic book re-dos are either great (Spiderman, X-Men) or stink (The Hulk). I think it all depends on how they're translated from page to screen. Some writers/directors do a great job and others just default to the special effects. This is too bad because there are great storylines in comic books. Darn, my login ran out again! I must be technically retarded.

auntbeast - just make sure it says "forever" in your log-in.
I think the best adaptations come from seasoned directors who are fans themselves. Sam Raimi has undoubtedly taken the best comic book hero of all time and translated this deep characterto the screen quite well. The box office backs up this claim. Bryan Singer took the X-Men and turned them into a great series.
I think Tim Burton did well with the first Batman, but it seems that series turned into a sort of how many badguys can we cram into these movies.
Hopefully Tim Story can pull off the Fantastic Four.

Misty and I saw it last night at a theater in Downtown Disney. I still like it and can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

Joe and I will see it at the dollar theater. I've read reviews and talked to people who saw it and liked it but I'm still pretty unmoved.
My great disappointment is that I love Batman and could care less about this movie.
Batman was the first and only comic I ever read when I was younger. I should have been the first in line to see it. I had a bad feeling when I heard Christian Bale was going to be Bats and it got worse from there.
